Forget the penny and you sure can't tell by eyeballing. Before you go to the dealer the next time, stop by an auto parts store and pick up a tire depth gauge for a couple of dollars. Check out the tires on a new car and you will find the PS2's are in fact 10/32" front and 9.5/32" rear.
my finger depth gauge worked great! i'm telling ya...head to the dealer. see it for yourself. i don't need to be convinced...i already know the truth.
once again...this is why i went with the conti's. i didn't feel like being robbed of tread.
