Hi guys… Thanks for letting me join the conversation. I do have some additional information on the Chrysler Crossfire Roadster Spring Edition. It has been available for order at any DCX dealership since February 4, 2005.
Here are some of the key features on the Chrysler Crossfire Roadster Spring Edition:
-Available with either Automatic or Manual transmission
-Exclusively available with Red Crystal Pearl Coat exterior paint (PRH) and Dark Slate Gray cloth seats
-SRT6 style cast aluminum wheels
-Black windshield surround
-Satin silver door handles & side louvers
If you guys are interested in getting the Crossfire Roadster Spring Edition, your local DaimlerChrysler can assist you in locating this vehicle. By the way, thanks for the pic CrossfireLTD, it helped me out a lot in finding this information for you guys.
Dan Root, now to your question regarding why Blaze Red or Alabaster are not available on the SRT6 models, one of the main reasons why it is not offered is to maintain a exclusivity in the SRT lineup. Although as you can see, the Blaze Red will be offered exclusively on the Crossfire Roadster Spring Edition. One of the themes I noticed in previous threads is Crossfire owners (like yourselves Dan Root and CrossfireLTD) love the fact that not many other people own Crossfires. You guys love the stares you get from other people driving in your Crossfire and the gasp when you tell them it’s a Chrysler. A color as exclusive as the Blaze Red on the Crossfire Roadster Spring Edition or the Classic Yellow on the Crossfire Roadster Limited just furthers that “one-of-a-kind” feel you get in your Crossfire.
If any of you have any other questions, let me know. I’ll be around.
Thanks,
Keerit T.
