Map below is a potential Southern route that includes a good portion of Moonshiner 28, Cherohala Skyway and The Dragon in the roundtrip. Somewhat longer (205-210 miles), but something to think about.
A great looking run for sure.
The only way this would probably work being that it is 8 hours is to not have a photo shoot at Fontana Dam in the morning.
We would probably need to leave the lodge at 8am to be back by about 5pm with the stop for lunch of course along the way.
Still want to have the BBQ on Saturday each year to.

It's probably a bit long for most to run on a Sunday but......there is always next year as you said
