Whenever you start to upgrade ANYTHING on your car you should tackle the BIG three FIRST. #1 Battery to frame #2 Motor to Frame #3 Frame to Body. In addition to the big 3.. Battery to Motor and Battery to Body ALWAYS helps. 4ga MINIMUM wire should be used. This will provide all the extra grounding anyone will normally ever need..whatever stock grounds there are LEAVE THEM THERE!!! Unless they are in the way of you adding more.
