Pompano Beach has Comcast for cable. I did a quick lookup for you on prices. Their fastest internet package is $99.95/month for 50Mbit down/ 10Mbit upload. The next package slower is $62.95/month for 30Mbit, uploads up to 7Mbit. The packages get cheaper and slower from there.
Note on the prices they are " for customers that currently subscribe to Comcast Cable or Comcast Digital Voice service." Their website doesn't list prices for just internet.
That area of FL does also have AT&T. I think they offer DSL for internet.
