So the shop wrote today and sid I need to replace my lower ball joints ASAP.

I read that the LOWER ball joints can be replaced just like that, without having to get a whole new control arm. Luckily the joints are not expensive, like 30-40 bucks a piece. Are they hard to install? A possible DIY job? Does the car need re-alignment after the install?

And if a shop does it, how mich hours are appropriate??
