Thanks for the reply, but I did get the side panel off and can see the connector. I just don't seem to have enough muscle in my fingers to get the damn thing off. That's why I'm foolin' with the stud washer.
Same problem I had. So I went back to getting the washer off. I kept wiggling the pedal and kept lifting up until it finally came off. My ribs hurt and my back hurts. I drilled out the washer before I replaced it.
