By the way, this looks great!!!! I'm also seeing a few different things here that I like. The red wires, and the different bolts that were used for all of the covers. Looks really good.
I would also like to see a braided stainless steel wire cover where the red wires are. That might also look nice. I agree with you though, I will go with black on the motor and chrome on my surge tanks.
I need to know where you got those bolts from.

Here's the engine from the last car we did before putting it in. We can do it various colors so you don't have to go with yellow on yours.
I personally think black would really set it off quite nicely!
