re: Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
So, I've been driving on these tires for a nearly 1000 miles now and I've
come to some conclusions.
1) these tires are pretty good in the rain. Hold the road well when wet,
and seem to handle the standing water just fine.
2) these tires ain't got no grip. Maybe I got a weak set, or they need more
miles on them, but I find I have to be more careful with the throttle than
I was with my previous tires. Very easy to break loose from a stop, and
do not hold in the corners as well.
3) There is a definit feeling that the rims are shifting over the sidewalls
during cornering. Inflation is proper.
I would rate these tires as good for those who drive drive around town or
are not as agressive in the corners. They will do me fine driving back and
forth to work until I'm ready for the next set, but I do think I'll have to be
a bit easier in my driving to make these last much more than a year. The
way it feels now, the rears will need replacing in 6 months. They just spin
so darn easily.
