Ok, I shopped around and places like 2dayparts.com will sell the set for $548...+ $80 shipping. I still need to get them mounted and balanced +-$100 or so? Then I drive down the road and one of them is defective (this has happened to me before) and what is my recourse?
For an extra $40, I like the option of simply walking up to a counter and pointing my finger to get it fixed
which is all that's requred at Discount Tire.
It seems wrong that it's far cheaper to skin a Corvette than a Crossfire
but if this is the reality, then Discount's price is reasonable.
