My 240 is the same story, torn down for a facelift and due to my back problems, won't be able to finish anytime soon. Plus we had to cancel our drifting season due to the economy, so no events = no point in blowing tons of money on a track car that I can't drive
how did you hurt your back?
one of the more upright sport bikes like a fz1 or fz6 etc may work better for you with back issues. they are all day comfortable, not quite as hard edged as the others but still good handling and plenty of power.
what tracks did you run the bike at?
