I bought my '05 with 400 Miles on it a few months ago. it now has close to 3000 and I'm enjoying every inch of it

Cars are more valuable than green paper.
I bought mine with 80 miles on it new in 2005. I now have 56K miles on it (spread out over 5 years of driving). I have enjoyed it and used it as a daily driver. Now my commute is longer and I drive an older car as my daily driver. I feel better each day knowing my baby is sitting in the garage and does not have to deal with the crazy rush hour drivers each day, possible deer assaults, sun damage in TX heat...etc. I feel better knowing I can put the key in and enjoy it on weekends.

I have enjoyed my crossfire to the fullest. I get tired of people telling me it needs to be driven and abused because that is what it is meant to do! I have been there and done that! I am now enjoying my crossfire in a different way. I am enjoying it safely tucked away in the garage. Just giving it a rest for a little while with an occasional drive on the weekends. I have just been very busy around the house with projects so I haven't taken it out for a few weeks. My projects are now complete so it is back to enjoying the car on weekends.

And I am not expecting it to go up in value. I don't see it as an investment for money. I see it for an investment in my sanity when I am older. In 20 years when I retire I want to be able to still have the car and enjoy it.
