Sorry for the slow response here. I'm in the UK this week for work. I was thinking of a mixed amount of days:

Saturday & Sunday - At least one down day to visit areas on your own, see a car show, or just take it easy.

Monday through Wednesday - During the week some of the more "touristy" areas should not be as busy. There are several drives that I have in mind with breathtaking views that would be better during the week especially for parking (Mount Evans comes to mind).
