I just spoke with the event runner Rick who is very excited to have us coming to this event! He is so excited that he would actually like to make this a national Crossfire event for next year! We now have our designated meeting location.

This location is right next to Bob Evans & Hooters. We can walk to Bob Evans for a nice artery clogging breakfast! Rick suggested that a banner would be a great idea for us. I spoke to Gary & he is going to see what is available.

After everyone eats, meets & greets we will cruise over to the Volusia Mall to have our pictures taken. Rick suggested that it is best to wait until 11am or later to do this because the lighting is better in the photos & there is less of a crowd.

When we get our pictures taken we will have several options of activities that we can participate in as a group. Please check out the website for the cruise so you have an idea of what is available.

Several television shows will also be filming at this event. There will be "Muscle Car Workout" & "Tail Fins & Chrome" - call me a media junkie, but I talked to Rick about maybe getting our cars parked in a place where they will be the backdrop in the shots for the shows. He will see what he can do for us!

Also there will be a dedicated radio station for the event - please tune to AM 1340 for 50's - 70's music and event updates.

This is going to be a great time. We need to get as many XF's out there as possible!!!
