I have absolutely no plans to ever put either one of mine back to stock, so I did as you did...I cut them out and tossed them in the trash...I like the looks and the performance...and if I ever sell them, so will the new buyer....I am one of those old guys who just hates to cover up a perfectly good looking motor...lol....
