I like your solution, but I did not want to have to buy one of the more expensive grills out there and then have to pay to modify it to simply not have to drill my cover, but you did a nice job for sure.

I do not know why you read things with such negativity. I actually told them that I would like to buy a grill, but only if I do not have to deface my car to install it. Have you ever heard of a recommendation or innovation? Maybe I was trying to help them sell more grills, as I explained, "Since so many crossfire owners are particular, such as myself, I would highly recommend you figure out a way to use the OEM mounting system. If you do, please let me know, and I will be purchasing a grill. Thanks." I know you would like to twist my words, but my intentions were to help a vandor (we don't have many) make his product better and be able to sell more grills, at least 1 more, because I really wanted one. Some of us are actually in it for the car, and to get vendors to the table with products we want to buy. I have worked with many vendors over the years improving aftermarket parts with them, after all, I have spent a small fortune over the last 10+ years in aftermarket modifications, and most vendors realize to get the business of an extremely particular group of afficionados, you need to work WITH them....

I understand you have to play the devil's advocate, I have many lawyers as friends and family members, and with many, not all, of them, it is almost like an addiction to always have to play the side that is argued against. I am not sure if they are trying to sharpen their skills, or simply **** off the rest of the family
