Re: Vendor "Does not care" BUYER BEWARE
Wow, I am so glad I read this thread!
I have a big shopping list I am compiling for bits that I want to do to my SRT over the winter. I've been in touch with Needswings, who have been most helpful regarding a dual CAI. (I must add that several forum members have been equally helpful - fantastic!) Needswings will be getting a call shortly for CAI and illuminated door sills!
I also emailed GrilleTech this week for a quote to ship their billet grille to the UK. It was about $43 dollars, so a total of about $283 or £160. Lovely grilles and a pretty decent price, I think! (I was even prepared to drill my bumper for the install, as I thought it looked so good!!)
However, having read this thread I will not be ordering from them. They are trying to sell me something, not the other way round. If they want to sell things they should be listening to their customers, not abusing them! The customer has the right to question and make suggestions, the seller should either listen, or be polite in his rebuttal!
I will also be emailing them to tell them exactly why I am not making my purchase now. Their attitude sucks and they should know! I hope, when they realise their error, they will invest some time and money in their people skills and their business benefits from it!!
Regards, Andy.
P.S. If anyone has any suggestions for an alternative grille, fire away!!
