I'm sorry to hear that. My repair using the Eastwood kit has been in place for 5 months and is holding strong. I applied a very small bead of adhesive and flattened it with a popsicle stick to about 1/2 inch width, I applied pressure holding both sides together (pillow case stuffed with rags to support the inside and oil bottles holding the outside down), and left it alone for 24 hours.
