Ponder this though, *IF* you fail a smog check in CA your car is now a *GROSS POLUTER* yep, tagged for the life of that VIN number. You win all sorts of fabulous parting gifts... You get to be tested at more stringent 'test only' stations, are required to test more often then semi-annually like your clean burning counterparts do. Try registering a gross poluter car in this state
