The funny thing is that I would like to know who has even done it to know for sure because I would like to talk to them
That said, I don't plan on blindly boosting to 14.7 just to see what happens. The thing that I have been stuck on is that I should be making double the boost I am now and having to keep it under control with a restrictor. I should have the "ability" to make that much boost, then install the restrictor and tweak it to 8psi, tune, dyno, open it up to 9 psi and repeat and so on.
So far that hasn't been the case and I have yet to nail it down 100% as to why.
As it stands, it looks to be making 9 psi at redline. I decided to just bypass looking for the cause and go ahead and tune her up as is to get ready for the GTG tomorrow. So far, I have ended up having to start from scratch as I was hitting some fuel cut at 5k when I wound her on up. That's what sucks about a piggyback like the AEM, change the MAF clamp per RPM and your fuel map is screwed to the moon.
Oh well, I have that fixed now and am impressed with how she feels so far. I don't think it is going too far out on a limb to say that she will make more at 9 psi then a stock SRT! That remains to be seen as I have yet to get a full 6k run but hopefully I will by morning!!!!!
