Most of the screw type blowers are made to leak around the screws and usually only put out from 4.5 to 7.5 psi boost so they don't blow it up and the blowwer will go a 100K miles without rebuilding it and eating them up with warranty repairs. I would be very careful and take your time. Don't get in a hurry. I'm sure that thing sounds cool winding up. I would love to hear it.
