Fake as a set of stripper *******. Doesn't mean it's a bad thing. I went with covers for three reasons. 1.Looks better than caliper paint in my opinion. 2.Being black, they don't look out of place or obviously fake to 99% of people. 3.I don't want to invest half the value of the car on a set of brakes just to have a better looking caliper. Love it or hate it...it is what it is.
