I just checked my windows twice, I push on the top and the windows goes up push on the bottom and the windows go down . It could be I have a later model ( 5599 ) but it still has the bad radio desplay.
The cover does come of with ease. I wanting to disable that cup holder that comes open when I bump it while shifting, so maybe this is a way into the rest of the consol.
