Re: Check thid tool out
OK I guess I need to come clean. As Paul Harvey would say and now for the rest of the story. I was taking my wife's Mercedes in to have her summer tires and rims removed and her winter tires and rims put on and Sam's club stripped the hub/bolts on the right front. It cost them almost $ 800 to get that fixed. So after that I felt $16 was good investment to ensure I did not do something like that when I do the rim cleaning on my Xfires. Kinda felt it was cheap insurance.
Oh I was amazed at how you needed to use a special Mercedes tool that screws into the front bumper to pull the car onto a flat bed. It was a much nicer system then we have on the Xfire. It was in the trunk right where it was supposed to be. Shows you how often I look there or drive that car. The drivers manual comes in a leather case and it is about the size of a bible or hard back novel. Waiting for the tow truck it made interesting reading.
