Sometimes when I am very happy, I give it a little gas and hit triple digits.

I noticed that when I do so, I get an interesting smell, guessing from the engine bay somwhere. Its very hard to describe. I guess that its a burning of something, but I have no idea what it is since there are no leaks of any kind or there is no increase in engine temp and no smoke.

I smelled the exact same thing when other cars in front of me accelerate hard and pull away. I never had this is any of my German cars on the autobahn, thats why I am suspicious.

Anyone else know this sensation?? Just wondering.
