Re: Savannah Gtg Nov 6
For those coming in Friday night and would like to meet up for breakfast, I suggest we meet up at either the Omelet House or Cracker Barrel both on Hwy 80, Exit 102 off I-95 around 9:00 AM.
Those not arriving Friday night or planning on sleeping in a bit or doing their own thing for breakfast, we'll meet at around 10:30 same place as we did before, right in front of Sam's at Exit 104 off I-95. Can't miss it, it is right across the street from Walmart.
After breakfast and the meet up, we can all cruise downtown for photo ops, the river front, and later on the Ghost Tour if any would like to do that, they have two options we can either do a walking or a trolly, I suggest the trolly, simply because there is a ton of walking involved. Anyone staying downtown that want to just meet up with us there we will be parking our vehicles over at the convention center accross the river, figuring eta at the riverfront to be around 11:00-11:15 ish. I would like us all to form a circle in front of the convention center with our cars for a photo shoot, pretty brick road on the front side and reflections in the glass! Then we can FERRY across the river to the riverfront and look around. orrrrrr
There are several other things we can do, one will be to all cruise down toward the beach and visit Fort Pulaski, if it is not tooo tooo cool... or cruise out to the Vineyard (1 hour) opposite direction where, YES DAN we can have Pizza for lunch...(warning gravel road up to vineyard, cars will be dusty)!!!! But a beautiful place and they are in the middle of Havesting now.
EVERYONE bring a Jacket!!! The evenings will be pretty cool and for the ones that get chilled easily the day may be cool. Right now here it is averaging mid 70's during the day dipping down to Mid to lower 50's at night.. very pleasant, I don't expect it will change much by first weekend of Nov.
FOR ALL
