No big deal, put her in gear and approached to a light. I stopped and noticed engine is idling rough. Not rough to a point where it looked or sounded like it had a big cam or it was gonna stall, but it was rough enough to shake your butt slighly in the car. I revved her up to a 2k rpm or so thiniking it would get back to normal but nope. I started to drive and oh boy engine started to shake even worse, felt and sounded like eash cylinders werre miss firing, etc. I immediately pulled over, turned the car off. 30 seconds later I restarted to car, and everything was just fine.
Now, what in the hell was that? Any opinions? Previous experiences? It was pretty scary. I just thought maybe it had a small glitch and needed to be recalibrated. But why this even happened in the first place? Kind of worried me.
Thanks folks!
Curious, I've always read on "High Compression Engines" you shouldn't start them up and let them idle for long periods of time. Of course the word "long" is subjective.
