I do have the manual. Unfortunately, it's really vague about compatibility. It basically says "they cannot guarantee compatibility blah blah". The one I tried was formatted fat32. Not sure why it wouldn't work since I use it regularly on my computers. I did find an old Memorex drive that worked like a champ, but it's too small to effectively use.

On the bright side, navigating folders and files on the Blaupunkt is a snap. In the test I ran, I could see that, since it does recognize folders, moving through large archives should be fairly quick and painless.

It would be nice to know the brand name and size of a flash drive that someone is currently using with their head unit. If it happens to be on a Blaupunkt, so much the better!
