Chrysler still uses some Mercedes components in the Charger/300.

I'm one of those weird, old timer Mopar fanatic. Allpar is a daily web destination for me. My first car was a '69 Charger (440cid) before I even had a license.

Anything new from Chrysler will more than likely be based on a current Fiat. The auto buzz word going around now is 'turbo'. What was old is new again.

personally, I think it's a shame that Chrysler stopped the Crossfire. It could have been continued on the GS platform with the new Pentastar V6 (280hp NA) and badged as a Dodge and a Chrysler.
then 470 hp and 470 lb ft should be right up your alley, not to mention the new 392 badges (that's 6.4L for zie Germans)

and it gets better gas mileage than last year, seriously
