The article says that the spoiler takes 5 seconds to fully deploy. I never really timed it before but 5 seconds to a car that fast is a long time. The SRT is so fast that once it hits 65MPH and the spoiler starts to deploy.... the car could already be up in the 130's or higher before the spoiler is in position. At that point it is too late because the car needs the spoiler to keep the back down at high speeds.
