well, retired, I guess I look at things a little different than the others...I've been a gearhead my whole life...so here goes...first, if this was a 1 owner, and had no dings and minor curb rash...I'd say, it was worth it. But, it's not. In fact, the new owner who is now selling doesn't even have a dime in it.....so, with that info, I would certainly make a low offer...every dime he gets is profit. As for the car, you would be the 4th owner, like it or not whether the 3rd owner has driven it or not...16.5 would be my top offer...you will put 500 in it to fix it up...now at 17k....that's a fair deal...good luck with whatever you decide...
