Doc - I understand where you are coming from. I spent a good hour yesterday talking to a guy who also has a Cobra. he told me he thought it was way too much engine for what I wanted the car for. So I thought long and hard about it, talked to a few friends and have decided to wait for one with a smaller motor in it, something a little less on the wild side. One of the things I did very much consider was after the "glow" fades I still have to be comfortable driving this thing and with the race clutch in it, it was not a comfortable car to drive. So one thing my years have taught me is its ok to think impulsively, just act on it responsibly and with a lot of what if's. There is a Cobra in my future, just not this particular one.

bmorgan - thanks - I know about that site, that where I found this one and realized it was sitting about 20 minutes away. The guy I spoke to yesterday told me he thought I could get into one with a small block, 302 0r 351 at around 35k or less. So my original plan was to do this, this time next year. I'm gonna hold to that unless something really attractive comes up.
