Having the power of an SRT6 engine attached to a manual transmission would be a very, very good thing. I'm sure you could appreciate it, too.
Engine and Drive Train mods shouldn't be compared against changing seats or adding fog lamps.
BC.
Maybe. But the money spent could be reallocated to a different platform which would provide better ROI.
Our cars are cool but not racers. And why, if all you wanted was faster traps on the quarter would you go manual?
I've run both NA and SRT thru the Dragon. I'm sure the boost of an SC on a manual would feel good in the pants, but I doubt my run thrus would be significantly faster. Certainly not worth the dough involved.
And frankly, the stock manual couldn't take the torque.
I'm not discounting your very intrigueing concept. However, If I was trying to boost a manual NA with serious hardware, I would look at a twin turbo concept. But that's another thread topic.
In the end, Mark is not looking for an SRT but a decent Stick with the less complicated engine.
And fewer hookups with the local deputies.
