Re: crazzy throttle sticking to red line
You're looking in the wrong direction, in my opinion.
What you should be looking for is either:
- An air leak around or past the throttle body. This type of leak will cause the engine to rev without any input from you.
- The throttle plate in the throttle body is sticking. Either caused by carbon build up, or the motor for the throttle plate is having issues, and needs to be replaced. I would remove the throttle body, and give it a good cleaning with throttle body cleaner, and a soft toothbrush, and see if the issue is resolved.
