Yes, almost all forged aluminum pistons are. You can request custom alloy's depending on the motors intended use but almost all of the street pistons share the same alloy properties.
Pauter makes good stuff, they also charge accordingly. and having custom runs cost more than Manley. I've run Manley in all of my builds, not to mention as a dealer we've had a long history with them, so they are more open to things we need.
only thing you need to worry about is the amount of silicon in the alloy as that determines expansion ratio vs. heat.
I did talk to Comp about doing a run of cams as well... They said they would need master blanks first... And as of right now, I have no idea where to start looking. I think that is what kills cams right there.... Unless Schrick is willing to cough up a pair.
Although we could probably take a stocker and take our measuring arm to it and make a blank using the base circle diameter for blank lobes, but thats a lot of man hours for something that might not even be viable
