Default Vacuum Line leak to trunk lock

I have a 2004 Coupe that has had a problem with the vacuum line leaking that controls the trunk lock. The connection located between the body and the trunk deck lid (located at the top of the trunk opening on the right side) is where the problem is. This "flex" point appears to ultimately crack or pinch the vacuum line causing it to fail & the trunk either will not lock or open, if already locked, once it fails.

You can tell it fails by the long "hissing" sound heard when you unlock or lock the doors from air leaking from the line.

I have had it in for repair 2x's and "its back" again.

Has anyone else had the problem as well as had success in fixing it?
