When Evan and Franc both had roadsters, we all wondered the same thing when we were out on the side of the road, and trust me when I say, if I would have been 3 inches taller or 10 lbs heavier, I would not have made it out the way I did.

If you add anything to the car that was never there originally, you should be able to get it off. If you replace something, you must leave it under most circumstances. It all totally depends on your insurance company, but after the fight I have on my hands, I would strongly recommend anyone who has significant money into their car to have the insurance company get you an 'Appraised value' on the car so if something happens, you are covered for everything you have into the car, and the increase in price each month is usually small.
