Called SHOEI about my rat bed helmet - the rat had apparently made a very cozy soft nest with moving blanket fibers & some bites of foam from the helmet lining - and $75 will restore the lining plus some more for a set of cheekguards. Beats $450 for a new one. But I will have to wait as hubby's front tooth crown fell off & his DDS wasn't working today so he went to mine, who wasn't working either but was in front of the office & accomodated him. Hubby has a dental HMO so it isn't going to be covered... ughhh. Have reservations for Reno NV in a week but neither of our cars can take chains & I just know it is going to snow.... that place has the strangest weather. And the worst, I washed my car with a rag with dried paint on it today. It is covered with cat whiskers. Tears don't take them out. Good thing the car has been wrecked twice. I almost don't even care.
