Default Re: Traction control!!! Truly shut it off

Pulling the fuse isn't going to kill anything. Remember the car is a fly by wire setup. Everything is run off of electrical impulse. If you are not careful, the cars M. O. can bite you in the as*. What I mean by M.O. is, these cars are notorious for over-voltage. For a long time I thought that the car was under Powered. I figured out that it is not under powered, but actually it puts out more power then you think. Were the problem lies with these cars ability to regulate power. If anyone has a real rough idle, check your fuses, you may find that your ignition controller fuse is toasted. That is one of many places to check for faulty parts. Because for a while. I was calling this car the my Car the Miss-Fire. What it came down to was, the ignition timing was that of an E class, and was screwing everything up. Ya it pissed me off a little bit, to think that this thing was set up as E class car as far as the fuel to air ratio's etc...etc... So you don't want and cant kill the traction control, if you do your car probably won't run.
