Re: '05 SRT-6 for sale
Yes Softball Junnkie I did agree to sell you my xfire for 13K. You said your bank was going to be contacting me and that you were planning on buying the vehicle. Then I noted on the forum here that you had apparently decided on something else, which is your right of course. However you never bothered to contact me to let me know that you were not buying it and I only found out when I joined this forum.
As for the 13K price I agreed to take originally (and would have held to with you as I had already agreed and I am a person of my word), I started researching a bit more what the SRT-6's were going for and felt that it was worth more than 13K, thereby increasing the price when I reposted it for sale. Which is my right since you did not buy it as stated.
As for the accident in Dec 06 cannot remember if we spoke of it or not truthfully, as I have received many queries regarding the vehicle. I do know that anyone who asked if it had been in an accident was told the truth that it was and had no issue giving my VIN # out to anyone who asked. Since the accident happened within three months of purchasing the vehicle (purchased new 12/05...accident 2/06) and was repaired perfectly in my opinion and I have driven it for the past several years without any issues whatsoever, I feel that the accident is really a non-issue. I was only going about 30MPH in a residential neighborhood. The airbags did not deploy. My recollection is that it was about 10K to repair but it was so long ago and since the insurance paid with the exception of the deductible I can't remember exactly how much it was. And you have to remember that the parts, etc. for this vehicle are expensive as well when you are thinking about the 10K repair cost. On another vehicle that may be much more damage than on a Crossfire SRT-6.
In any case, there are no mechanical issues with the vehicle. I have service records avail. There are MINOR cosmetics with the vehicle. I did however smoke in the vehicle, and that is a questioin that has come up. I have taken good care of the xfire. Synthetic oil changes as recommended, always put premium gasoline in as well. I am a Registered Nurse and utilized the car to go back and forth to work, so it has not been tested to it's limits.
The vehicle is still available for sale if anyone is interested. I have lowered the price on CL to 14K in the hopes of getting 13.5K minimum for the car. If anyone on here is interested for 13.5K let me know and if not no prob.
Happy Sunday!
