You definetley NEED to get a tire plug kit, jack and pump to keep in the car... unless you want to call AAA for a flat...flats usually occur at the most inopportune times and places.....
You could try looking on ebay or post a 'want to buy' here for the pump and jack... you might get lucky....

and just to ask the obvious, you did look UNDER the floor mat of the trunk, right??
