I disagree with the 'slimers'. Even though I've used it in the past, I am seriously looking at a combo inflator/battery charger. Takes up only a little more space than either device separately, can be carried easily between cars and you don't have to risk your electrical system to jump start someone.

That and the slime is corrosive. A tire guy once told me the slime was corrosive to the rims. I believe him because his shop didn't (and doesn't) sell rims.

And Captain, don't take this the wrong way from an ex non-comm, but "search" is your friend. Most of the questions you have about your car have already been answered on this forum. Unfortunately, most of the forum members who have answered these questions have moved on.

In another recent thread, there is a discussion of getting and using the space-saver spare from the first generation SLK (on which the Crossifire is based). You might want to look at that.
