Thanks also Thirteendog - I remember those crazy fuel line magnets from the '80's. It's hard to believe some Federal body hasn't shut those guys down yet.

My '04 Crossfire automatic is bone-stock and I'm very, very happy with it the way it is. Like I had written, I just got really excited with the gas mileage and emissions reductions etc....

About the only thing that I'm not crazy about is the standard radio. My Chrysler radio sounds and looks great but a couple of years ago I got hooked on HD radio and it's tough to go back to standard radio stations. However, I'm leery of ripping into that beautiful dash and messing something up.

Thanks guys for your input on the computer chip thing though !
I'll do some searching through the archives for more info on radio upgrades and gas mileage tips etc..

Thank you,
Dave
Do a little searching on the forum for radios. I installed a blaupunkt myself with no experience. A simple plug and play. No wire harness needed. Stick the key in that came with the radio from crutch field. Slide the old radio out. Plug the new radio in... No special wires. Now I get the aux Jack so I can play anything I want. Best 140 dollars I ever spent. Took me 10 min t o install. I still have the factory radio boxed up and in storage in case I ever want to put back in.
