I was looking into purchasing a set of new tires from my local "Dunn Tire" wheel/tire shop and when I asked them for a specific Continental brand tire the person I was talking to on the phone said that Crossfires come standard with runflat tires and it is that particular shop's policy that they will not put regular low profile tires on a car that comes standard with runflat tires.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me if this is true - that crossfires are issued runflats from the manufacturer and that most "legitimate" shops will only install another set of runflats?
