Batteries with a very high cca are not the best because of the high cca. They give a high amperage to start the car but the storage (amp hours) is much lower.
It's a trade off, you either have a battery that stores a lot of power or you have one that has a higher cca. It all depends on the number of plates in each cell. More plates equals higher cca, less plates equal more reserve capacity.
The OEM Varta battery had around 640cca, with a reserve capacity of 150 minutes. This was a good battery and more than adequate for the task.

Light weight batteries do not store much power, they cannot because there is no mass to store the power. The heavier the battery the more power it can store.
