If you live in sunny California then CCA is not so important, you want one with a higher reserve capacity.
Less plates giving less CCA are stronger batteries as long as the battery weight is the same and the design equal. Stronger batteries last longer than batteries that have to give out a lot of CCA which weakens the battery integrity over time.
This car needs a strong and steady battery not necessarily a high CCA, which only comes into play when starting.

Buy a battery that suits your driving conditions.
