I got a new copy of the window sticker for my 2007 Limited Coupe shortly after I bought it used 2 years ago. According to Chrysler, the original selling dealer can obtain a copy from Chrysler Corp for up to 5 years. So for a 2004 model, it's probably too late. And it's getting close for any 2005; maybe too late also with 2011 models showing up on dealer sites. But for the 2006 thru 2008 model years, there should be plenty of time to get a window sticker.

You'll have to contact Chrysler Customer Service from their website and request what dealer was the original seller of your car. Provide the VIN and Chrysler should get back to you via eMail with the specific contact info. They did that for me. Not sure what happens if the original dealer was one that 'bit the dust' in Chrysler's restructuring.

And be prepared to pay a 'fee' for the window sticker from the dealer. Fortunately for me, that original dealer of my car was very cooperative and didn't charge me anything for the sticker. But some dealers look at this as an opportunty to collect some sort of doc fee.

If by build no you mean the numerical sequence of the car, it is the last five digits of the VIN on Crossfires. That's the number everyone references on this forum. The build date is listed on the vehicle label.
