Also, I believe if the total repairs to the vehicle on a covered claim exceeds the (cumulative repairs cost) value of the car (speculative), you will get the remaining value of the vehicle in repairs and they will charge you for the rest. Then the 'contract' will be voided after that point. Everyones repairs to date were below the value of said vehicle, so you would not have experienced this. This fact is partially pointed out in the first column ' SERVICE CONTRACT ', second para, line 2 through 4 " THE TOTAL COST OF THE REPAIRS, PER VISIT, LESS THE DEDUCTIBLE, OR THE CASH VALUE OF THE VEHICLE WHICHEVER IS LESS. ". It is worded very craftily! They may say you can get two complete engines over a period of time, but the value of the vehicle is deminished by that first engine, so when you claim a second engine it may tip the scales over to above their assessed current value of the vehicle. This is not mentioned anywhere, and you will be in litigation if you exceed the value of the vehicle on subsequent claims above the cumulative value of previous claims. Don't forget the bottom left column paragraph stating they use remanufactured parts, unless they are not available, then new parts may be used. As a caution, they do not have to fix it fast, so them waiting for a remanufactured/salvaged part to fix it is on your time not theirs. Finally, I see nothing in the MaxCare plan listed here ( http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com/...Provisions.pdf ) that says you get a refund at end of plan if you do not use it. You can cancel it based on the first 60 days provision with no claim and before it ends but it will be pro-rated based on time period. Please read this contract like you are covering the item, and that perspective will show you what they could deny as coverage. I always try to read contracts that would keep me from paying a clain, they certainly are writing them like that! No oral statement is valid on a written contract unless it is written into the printed contract and the printed contract allows write-in provisions.

We all know Chrysler corporation treats us like the plague when it comes to crossfires, nothing I have experienced since purchasing this car new (chrysler corporate and at two large dealerships) has changed this impression. Buyer beware!
of course, know what you're paying for and read the fine print. that's life outta high school. conversely, i have never experienced what many have gone through here with their crossfires. the 5* dealer i bought my 6 from treats me like a customer who bought their most expensive car at the time. they also have a crossfire tech and we're talking about a small, central calif city. all this mod this, de-badge that, whatever. when i go into my dealer (rare times that has happened), they always comment on how mint it looks and they'll get me out as soon as possible. longest wait has been three days (differential). i talk with the service manager (who has been there 30 years) about all the great mopar cars (cuda, challenger, charger) of the past and put a positive spin on the fiat purchase. i can't wait for new chrysler product and i think the new srt8 challenger is great! i'm proud that i own a chrysler crossfire srt-6 (two of them) and am proud of my car's heritage and the good things to come.
