If you really aren't into working on your car, still buy the part online for $30. Then go find a reputable independent shop and pay them $30-$50 to install it. A 4x4 shop would be perfect as they install these things all the time. It truly is 2 bolts and 15 minutes of your time, if you have the tools to do it.
I can't believe that the dealership wanted $850 for it though?!? Most of the parts for this car are marked WAY up at the Chrysler dealerships, but this seems excessive even for them. Wow!
