I would replace it first. If it turns out that it is not the cause of the issue, you are saving yourself a lot of problems in the very near future anyway. I went to O'Reilly's here in Texas and they had a battery that worked perfect. I believe it was $89.00. It solved a host of weird electrical issues I was having.
Also, check your battery cables for corrosion. My ground cable was completely corroded. I had to cut it off the battery and replace it too. Just an FYI.
